They draw inspiration from a wide variety of artists, from The John Butler Trio to Biffy Clyro. This duo has created their own unique sound by combining confident vocals, bluesy guitar solos, moody 'dub-esc' guitar rhythms and sometimes a hint of train-track harmonica. Their debut single, "Topdog", was voted top 5 by Tom Robinson on Fresh on the net in March 2014 and broadcast on BBC Radio 6 Music. After winning the 'Change Tracks Battle of the Bands' in 2014, the duo finished off their first year together by releasing their 4-track EP The Blackwell Incident and took part in a tour with local folk artists Hometown Show and The Paper Trains.ā
As of September 2015 the duo have been working hard performing shows around the country, writing and recording their new EP due for release mid 2016.
