The brilliant new Tel-Aviv based Jangel Pop band Shoken Boys have shocked the world with their avant-garde style.
Often featuring a sound reminiscent of Real Estate and The Smiths but with a modern twist, Shoken Boys is known for their focus on Jangle Pop, warm lo-fi production, as well as Normcore style across music, fashion, as well as performance.
Hot off the heels of their 2019 debut single Call Me, the four-piece band emerged with their 2020 title EP Shoken Boys which was met with critical acclaim. Fast forward to 2022, Shoken Boys are back with their debut album Boyhood which features dream-like vocals, deep bass fixture, jangle pop guitars and dreamy/surf rock drums that are sure to capture the hearts of listeners.
As they gear up for their 2023 Euro Tour, there is no better time to accept the inevitable: Shoken Boys are the next big act.
