It is deep with experimental elements and nonetheless poppy. There is this spiritual notion within the unique sound that makes it deeply sensual, where it grabs us by the roots of our beings and forces us to let go, to dance.

In 2014 Berlin-based Valencian expat Teresa Tomás, teamed up with her new friends Anand Thadani (guitars and vocals), Marcel Dadalto (guitars, drum machine and synths) and Kilian Frank (bass and lyrics) to form She Knows, which quickly kicked off as one of Berlin’s most intriguing new electro-pop-combos. Together they produced the selftitled debut EP She Knows which had been released via Bandcamp in 2016. Only two years later the group had to face the fact that for Teresa and Marcel there was way more at stake with this project.

The band transformed into a duo in 2018, which paved the way for a novel gleaming era of She Knows where Marcel and Teresa remained as the perfect musical symbiosis and creative force behind a new and mesmerizing electronic sound that has been influenced even more by the club music and the experiences of Berlin’s infamous night life. Since then the duo released two EPs (Distorted Images [Bar 25 Music, 2019] and Natural Medicina [Sirin Music, 2020]) and played countless club and festival gigs.

Yet, She Knows is more than a musical act. Inspired by the creative power of their passionate fellow human beings, singer and songwriter Teresa Tomás and producer Marcel Dadalto see She Knows as a dynamic and collaborative project, offering an experimental space to passionate artists from their international network.

Not only have they worked together with acclaimed producers such as co-founder of Katermukke Sascha Cawa, the Argentinian Duo Los Cabras, the Brazilian producer Gus What and the Berlin-based producer from Thailand Dan Buri. Also, their booker Cid Travaglia has joined the duo for several gigs and recordings throughout the last two years as live percussionist. Shortly before the festival-season of 2019, She Knows started a collaboration with the Jena based visual artist Robert Metzner (Conzum) and the dancers and performers Gabriela Gottschalk, Filip Süt Rutkowski & Dan Timm. Together they played at festivals such as Fête de la Musique en Holzmarkt, Fusion, Garbicz, Katzensprung and Sa Terza Metari and aim to establish a show that is touching upon more than just one of our senses.
