They play fusion of genres such as stoner rock, blues rock and punk rock. It stands out for its energetic performances, outstanding vocals, lethal lead guitar and rhythm section which will rock your “hearing aid”.
The name of the first album is "First Fight". Album is self-released and band has no contract with any major label.
Shanghai Street Fight had many notable festival appearances. It broke through all the way to the finals at Demofest in Banja Luka in 2014. Some other big festivals which Shanghai Street Fight played in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 were OK Fest, Fresh Wave, Beer Fest Banja Luka, Live Free, Z.E.T and many others. In addition to festival appearances, the band had quite a number of club gigs. SSF had promotion of first album at Demofest Banja Luka in July 2017.
Music video for the song Shotokan Temple Fusion Blues was aired on MTV and VH1 channels.
Artists who had an important influence on SSF's music are: Jack White, The Black Keys, The Kills, Arctic Monkeys, White Stripes, PJ Harvey, QOTSA and Joy Division.
