As a successful live performer Shane tours solo and also with his band ‘The Host’. Hailing from Austria, Claudia Heidegger (Fiddle), Emily Velasquez (Bass), David Butschek (Percussion); together Shane & The Host are a serious proposition. The style has a distinct Irish feel, rattled with traditional Gaelic and Appalachian roots and rhythms. The sound is sweetened by that central European salt. Up tempo, crowd engaging and full of soul, all singing; this ensemble makes for a real live experience.
