Serpentyne Short Info

Serpentyne was formed in 2010 by Maggiebeth Sand and Mark Powell.

That year, they released their first album, “Stella Splendens,” based on mediaeval music and mythic themes, featuring Maggiebeth’s voice and Mark’s hurdy-gurdy.

2014 saw the release of their second album, “Myths and Muses,” which added rock and dance music elements to the band’s sound.

They have just finished their third album, “The Serpent’s Kiss,” This is a change of direction for the band, still keeping the mythic themes of the earlier albums, but, with the addition of guitar, bass and drums and a symphonic folk metal music style influence..
