Seine is a singer-songwriter project by Ivan Ščapec based in Zagreb.

It was formed in 2007, but only after the hiatus of his renowned punk-noise-pop collective Vlasta Popić, has Seine gained proper attention of his author. With several releases (from an EP to live album), this evil-hearty-punkish acoustics has travelled the Balkan region and played numerous shows. In the spring of 2016 Seine has released his first single “Kritika čistog razuma”, which marked the formation of Seine as a band. With Dimitrij Petrović on drums, percussions and vocals and Boško Mijušković, a talented young musician from Belgrade, on bass, Seine turned into an international group. In July 2016 they performed on Nektar Demofest in Banja Luka (BiH), the largest band competition in the Balkan region, and received first prize among 450 bands that applied, winning recording and production of their debut studio album. After the recording process, Ivan Grobenski replaced Mijušković on the bass guitar. In September 2017 they released their debut album "Sno Sna" for the French label VOX Project, and the most renowned alternative Balkan label - Moonlee Records. Soon thereafter, they embarked on their third European tour promoting their album in France, Belgium and Germany. Meanwhile, "Sno Sna" was unequivocally proclaimed one of the greatest regional alternative records of 2017. Currently the band is preparing for their big tour in October 2018, after which they will retreat to studio to record their sophomore album announced for Spring 2019.
