This time, they wanted to create a rabble rousin, rockin, genre crosssing song machine. George and Adam were quickly hired to keep the beat and after a hunt for a fiddle player, the boys discovered Emily, who at 27 is already a veteran of symphony and chamber orchestras in San Francisco, Berlin, Stockholm, London and Ireland. She'd never played in a band before, but from day one it was clear that the chemistry was right.

Over the last few months the band has been hard at work finding its sound, writing new songs and working on Little Rumours, their debut EP release which includes a collaboration with Scots singer/songwriter Christie Connor-Vernal. The CD is currently available from the band (scarletsathome@gmail.com), and will be available for general digital release from March 1st 2015.

The band draws it's influences from various musical loves including classic rock, Scottish and Irish traditional music and indie folk music with a classical twist.

Plans for the next year include lots of writing and more time spent in the studio, as many gigs as possible, with plans for touring and festivals this coming Summer 2015.

Above all, SCARLETS love what they do. Now they need to share that love.
