More kick-ass sound-sytem than band, Saverne bring the intesity of live rock-shows to the electronic scene.

Quoting the likes of Justice, C2C, Flume, Glitch Mob, Stromae, Gorillaz, Jack White and Foreign Beggars as their main influences, the sound of Saverne is energetic & crunchy, in a place where soulful melodies go hand-in-hand with lethal basslines and great songwriting.

Originally a trio, the crew from Budapest has recently been collaborating with Birmingham (UK) based MC Eye-D on new material, as well as taking him on the road this summer for some fire international festival gigs.

Having dropped their debut album last year, Saverne raised heads with their beautiful, hand-drawn animation music video for the single ‘Hendrix’, selected as a Vimeo staff pick and featured on the likes of gizmodo.com. Selected to play a showcase set at last year’s MIDEM, Saverne went on to do club gigs in Amsterdam, Berlin and their native Budapest, opening for the likes of The Glitch Mob, Kraak & Smaak, and for the mighty Gorillaz when they played a DJ set at Budapest Essentials Festival.

Last summer the gang has already played a double-gig in Manchester, as well as the Hangar stage at Electric Castle Festival in Cluj, Romania, the Europe stage at Sziget Festival in Budapest, Hungary, the Jäger Arena at Balaton Sound Festival and were invited to play the main stage at Oppikoppi Festival in Johanessburg, South Africa!
