The repertoire consists of copyright songs, including 'Santa Fé', 'Casa' - one of 14 finalists in the XII Music Festival Educator FM (2014) made in partnership with Aldemir Cameron - and 'BaiãoItapuã', included in the First collection Musical Map of Bahia, project carried out by the State of Bahia Cultural Foundation - FUNCEB - which selected 77 songs from 1367 copyright compositions.
Accompanied by Beto Espinola (vocals and guitar) Álvaro Lobo (vocals)Robson de Almeida( Percussão and Santz( DJ), the proposal of the Santo 7 band is to make a contemporary regional music through their typical instruments - bass drum and triangle - promoting a merger with sounds and textures of modern electronic music as samplers. In this melting pot rhythms broadcast by artists like Jackson do Pandeiro, Luiz Gonzaga, MUSE and Battles - typical representatives of northeastern music and wordmusic - gain a new look showing that instruments before stigmatized as the exclusive use of certain styles such as baião, the xote and xaxado - for the bass drum and the triangle - can dialogue with electronic music in a universal language, making a redesign of northeastern music and giving it a contemporary view.
