He decided to form a band with his friend from college, producer Stevedoesmusic (the pair attend The University of The Arts in Philadelphia, PA, USA) and Yoji,
an R&B artist from the UK (she studied Pop Music at Goldsmiths, University of London).

After an initial Zoom meeting, the trio clicked instantly and connected over their love for soul music and the bands they are all highly inspired by such as Lucy Pearl, N.E.R.D and The Internet.

The music of SOULiloquy spans over many genres including Soul, Pop, R&B, Funk & Hip - Hop as they fuse nostalgic and futuristic sounds. The trio describe their sound as “a patchwork of our individual styles, blending together seamlessly to make something quirky, fresh, and funky.”
