"Brits playing soulful rock à la Crowes shouldn't work, but rumHoney sound so good you'd swear they were real Southern boys." - Classic Rock Magazine Official Biography ------------ The music of rumHoney is a celebration of their roots.

The sound is blues-based on the twin guitar attack of the great rock ‘n roll bands, such as Aerosmith, The Black Crowes, and The Rolling Stones – the same bands they grew up listening to and treasuring as rumHoney younglings. After some years working together rumHoney have developed their own sound and direction and have financed and produced their own music with no external assistance or influence.

Jaime and Sky first started writing together in 2001. After some successful studio recordings, and one or two helpful words from those that count, they put the rumHoney band together and began to play the songs live. The additions of Noel Martin, Niol Sweeney, and Domino Giannetta turned the group into both a tight formidable unit, and a brotherhood. This is apparent whenever rumHoney step out to play; they clearly treasure every second they get to spend together onstage, and it shows.

The new EP "Home Again" was recorded late 2013 over 2 glorious weeks in Turin, Italy. The results reflect the same qualities the live shows possess: great songs, energy, and kilowatts of raw power. As Jaime himself says: "They sometimes scare the hell out of me."

By 2006 their music had taken them all over the UK, as well as France, Spain and Italy. In January 2008 rumHoney set off for a 2 week mini tour in the Italian Alps; 4 months and more than 100 gigs later they returned with both a faint grasp of the Italian language, and a desire to record all the songs that had been written on the road. Work on debut album ‘East to West’ began in June 2008. Throughout the recording process rumHoney funded studio costs by continually gigging all over the UK, as well as further trips to Germany and Italy in 2011, and Spain in early 2012. Recent shows include London's 'The 100 Club' and 'The Borderline', and Nottingham's 'Rock City'.

rumHoney will be once again touring the UK in support of the new "Home Again" EP before the year is out, with regular forays into Europe planned as normal. Spring 2015 will see work begin on the 2nd studio album.
