His family was all about the arts (music, dramatics, ...) and ever since he was young, he had contact with this world.
Got his first harmonica at the age of seven and years later his first guitar.
Started to write songs in english but soon he went to the tread of portuguese lyrics.

Always accompanied by his folk guitar, blues harmonica and a drum kick, he's spreading his love hidden on the lyrics he writes, throughout this planet.
Rui Taipa, studied music education and keeps his teaching career, with kids from 6 to 13yo, flowing along with the performing.
