Rose Blaac - Electropop Alternative Pop Pop Live Act in London

Rose Blaac Short Info

Rose Blaac (born Annie Tisshaw) is a twenty year-old English alternative electro pop artist based in northwest London. Originally from Norfolk, her sound is a combination of Lorde-esque electronic backbeats with a touch of sultry vocal styling’s reminiscent of Lana del Rey and Regina Spektor.

Having written original music and lyrics from the age of 11, Blaac decided to move to London to pursue a songwriting degree where she began gigging in a more pop/singer songwriter style. Having been exposed to more electro pop through FKA Twigs and Halsey, she changed her style and created the moniker “Rose Blaac”, Rose being her middle name, and Blaac representing the dark, alternative vibes she wanted to infuse into her music.

Blaac finds inspiration from pop culture. Often writing on women’s issues and society Blaac has also written spoken word poems and blogs frequently about music and fashion.

Blaac is currently in the studio writing and producing material for an upcoming EP and aims to partner with a label and to hit the festival circuit in 2016.
