Combining “heavy riffs, catchy melodies and meaningful lyrics,” with “honest music,” alternative rock band Rory Indiana is set to reveal their best EP yet. ‘Ruling Class Crooks’, produced by Chris Coulter is due to be released in September this year. Coulter has previously worked with artists such as Arcane Roots, Reuben and EMP!RE. The Brighton four-piece will be embarking on a UK tour in support of the EP, with dates to be announced. The release will see backing from Devil PR who have organised press for big name acts such as Architects, Deaf Havana and Faith No More.

Having supported big bands, most notably EMP!RE and Rival State, proves they have accomplished a great deal. Steadily paving their way through the festival circuit, performing at festivals such as 2000 Trees, ArcTanGent, Unfest and The Great Escape, the band have even more, exciting festival slots to announce. This includes performing at this year’s Great Escape festival and Y Not festival. The quartet has also recently performed with alternative rock bands Is Tropical and Press To Meco.

Formed in 2013, the members of the progressive rock band met through their love of music and wanting to be involved in music from a young age - with a shared goal of a career in a band. The group consists of vocalist and rhythm guitarist Rory Kaye, lead guitarist Ben Clement, bassist Dan Ely and drummer Harry Ward.

They draw inspiration from a wide range of genres, with their sound progressing from light rock to a more aggressive sound, but still incorporating softer elements. Producing a similar sound to Biffy Clyro and Arcane Roots, the group is influenced by a vast spectrum of artists including Reuben, Michael Jackson, Architects and Eminem. Noizzle blog suggests, “Anyone who likes bands such as Arctic Monkeys and Royal Blood will enjoy Rory Indiana!"

“Oozing with exciting potential” (Bring The Noise), Rory Indiana are progressing faster and faster. With their upcoming EP and prominent festival slots they are sure to keep evolving, whilst continuing to produce incredible, innovative music and performing captivating and energetic live shows.
