Past times of love and lament often surface into a neatly parcelled song. Beau spent as much time honing his lyrical skills as he did his image. The image derives from the book character Dorian Gray who is described as having scarlet lips, and golden hair making Romani instantly recognisable on return trips.
Romani has recently graduated from the Academy of Contemporary Music and has since supported the original cast to the West End musical Once's spin-off band, The Phoenix Collective and Al Lewis. Now he seeks to merge himself within the country/folk scene. Looking at him you would never have guessed that his music was so authentic, but Beau seems to be a mass of contradictions, being a dolled up country/folk singer and a gay God seeker, there is still something so rural about his upbringing that brings a humbleness to him that you can’t help but automatically connect with.
