Robi Mitch delivers spellbinding sets in a variety of forms including vibrant, psych-infused indie pop with his 5 piece band or hypnotic, experimental solo performances using a sampler and drum machine.

He is equally assured in the stripped-back, singer-plus-guitar setup, having played countless "living room" style shows and intimate acoustic gigs.

Robi had a folk upbringing (he was named after Robin Williamson of the Incredible String Band) and spent his teenage years fronting garage rock bands, but these days he draws on a far broader palette. There are traces of 70s psychedelia as well as overtones from global music scenes. Robi's experiences as a session guitarist in Taipei lend a distinctiveness to his sound.

Our Year, Robi's debut, was released in January 2020 as a limited edition vinyl. At times evoking the slacker rock movement with laid-back vocals and an unpolished production style, the 4 track EP has also been compared to the cosmic synth-psych of Pink Floyd. British indie tones mix with breezy, tropical flavours borrowed from Taiwan.
"Amazing" - Richard Pitt (BBC)
"Heavenly" - Obscure Sound

Can't Win is Robi's latest single, released in July 2020. Dreamlike and playful, the track's uplifting groove belies the gentle despair at the heart of the song.
"An incredibly beautiful listen" - Indie Top 39
"Warm tones and an infectious soundscape" - Music For The Misfits
