Risa was born and raised in New York, but has been residing in Manchester since the 80's.
She has been called 'lyrically courageous and musically eclectic ' by the BBC and has headlined gig and supported Nerina Pallot and Alice Gold. Her latest release , New York Nights has just been given a 5 star rating by Pennyblackmusic and Liverpool Sound and Vision.
