He has been playing guitar since the start of high school and singing since the end! He has played many shows all around the country, including Live at Leeds Festival 2014 at the Fringe venue, Hirsts Yard.

As well as being a talented solo acoustic singer songwriter, you might know Richard from his popular band, Bricks Without Straw, who’ve played big electric shows at venues such as The Cockpit in Leeds.

Back in June Richard spent a month in London trying to further his career as an acoustic performing artist. The trip was a huge success as he gained many friends and important contacts, including progressing to the final of the Be On The Scene Battle Of The Bands which saw hundreds of entries from all over the country!

He has written and self produced two singles, "All This Time" and "Free", with a debut EP to be released within the next month. "All This Time" has received many positive reviews, as well as a 7.5/10 crowd review on reverberation!

Most recently he organised and played a UK mini tour, travelling to Scunthorpe, London, Coventry, Leicester and Leeds!
