Richard and his band are off to a soaring start in 2016 after releasing their debut video for the single “What Is Love” with Vevo. Taken off their debut ep “Await The Sunset” the single was supported by VevoUS and premiered by the world famous Vocalzone who invited them into the studio to record an acoustic session of the track after winning their 15 second cover competition on Instagram. To celebrate the release of the video, Richard and his 6 piece band near filled the 400 capacity Wedgewood Rooms in Portsmouth with support from Just Millie (James Morrison support) & Nottingham based George Holroyd (Amber Run support). The show attracted the likes of BBC South and Richard was invited onto BBC Radio Solent for a second time to talk about the show and play live in the studio for “The Afternoon Show”.

Heavily featured on the iTunes singer/songwriter page amongst the likes of Frank Turner and Iron and Wine the recent summer debut ep “Await the Sunset” shot straight to number 22 on the iTunes (UK) Album Chart. Itunes featured the ep for a massive 8 weeks running on their new music page and Apple Music’s (UK) singer songwriter page! Firmly grounding themselves as an up and coming UK act Richard and co. have also earned themselves ep sales in over 15 countries.

Amongst radio plays on BBC Radio Solent ('What Is Love' single premiere), Richard has also appeared on BBC Isle of Wight Radio and was awarded the coveted ‘Record of the week’ for the title track “Await the Sunset. Richard was quickly spotted by Noel Edmonds to feature on his brand new radio show “Positively Talented” promoting the best in the UK’s new and unsigned music. Further radio plays include Express FM, Pure FM & Source FM whilst Richard continues to work alongside A&R companies such as “The Famous Company”.

Track 3 off the ep 'Amazingly Fantastically Beautiful" was featured by the hugely popular London Instagram account (1.8 million followers) for a promotional video they produced for Eurostar and the connection line between London & Marseille. Richard was recently shown on the front cover of Fret-Buzz Magazine and has been featured by Acoustic Magazine and the Australian Smorgasboarder magazine.

After playing a sold out Headline Show in Old Portsmouth at the Square Tower to celebrate Richard’s band launch worldwide Star Surf Camps sponsored Richard and his full band throughout a 10 day tour across Spain and France to celebrate the release the summer EP.
