Despite now being split across two continents (with guitarist/vocalist Scott Munro residing in Los Angeles and synth player/guitarist Paul Tissington in Newcastle, England) the pair show no signs of letting their creative partnership diminish. ‘Nightmoist’ shows off the best elements of their song writing, with tense rhythm, scything guitar lines and introspective lyrics about love and longing.
Inspired by everyone from Nirvana to Crystal Castles, the band Formed in Newcastle after a heavy session in 2015. Since then Reykjavik Kids have been creating the soundtrack to those kind of nights that are never forgotten, despite how much you may want to.
Their first demos found their way to boutique London based label Tigre Fair who released their debut eponymous single for Record Store Day 2015 on 12" vinyl and later singles have radio play from BBC Introducing North East.

Avantgarde Indie Duo, Reykjavik Kids sind zurück zu folgen ihre jüngste Reihe von Singles mit 'Nightmoist', eine epische Scheibe von nervösen Post-Punk.
Trotz jetzt auf zwei Kontinenten gespalten (mit Gitarrist / Sänger Scott Munro wohnhaft in Los Angeles und Synth-Player / Gitarrist Paul Tissington in Newcastle) zeigt das Paar keine Anzeichen dafür, dass ihre kreative Partnerschaft abnimmt. "Nightmoist" zeigt die besten Elemente ihres Songworts, mit angespanntem Rhythmus, scything Gitarrenlinien und introspektive Texte über Liebe und Sehnsucht.
