Cornwall was Refound's home throughout his educational years taking inspiration from his father who was part of a reggee-dub band called Jah Roots.

Refound* started writing his own material at the age of 17, part of a collective called Yardsticks, the first project he put out was titled ' We need beats'. Throughout his late teens he decided to move to Cardiff, heavily inspired by the UK hip hop scene. He worked with an independent label called S.F.D.B. where he released an E.P self titled Yardsticks.

Through the label he also had the chance to be a guest on 1xtra's home grown radio show hosted by Rodney P and Skitz showcasing home grown talent in 2006.

After refining his sound he moved to Hastings to work alongside Manifest, cousin of the prolifically talented UK hip hop due Taskforce one of Refound* idles who he later came to meet. Whilst in Hastings Refound* worked on a range of experimental projects to further he's lyrical content.

Finally moving to London in 2009 he met (Greg from The Moonwalkers)
and his brother J’R’ Josephs. Later releasing his first solo EP in 2013 titled
DeadFlowers part 1.

In 2015 Refound* released a project titled P.A.R.A.L.L.E.L
M.I.N.D.S alongside J’R’ Josephs the project was a success and got played in over a thousand cities world wide. Highlights include Mr Mayor, Don't Worry, Soho, Beat Talk and I Swear.

Forthcoming Projects
Refound* is currently finalizing the sequel to DeadFlowers part 1.
DeadFlowers part 2 will be available to download in spring 2016.
