Reflections in Cosmo Short Info

The Norwegian super-group "Reflection in Cosmo" played it´s first ever gig at Molde Jazzfestival in the summer 2014 to great critical acclaim. It all started with Thomas Strønen (Parish, Mats Eilertsen, Meadow) and Ståle Storløkken (Elephant 9, Supersilent) wanting to do something new. Not to expand on their long running duo project Humcrush, but to build something from scratch. They wanted to explore another format than the completely free and improvised they've been playing in their duo, with and without Sidsel Endresen. They invited with them sax player Kjetil Møster (Trondheim Jazzorkester, Møster!, Datarock, The Core, Ultralyd) and guitarist Snah from the very succsessfull Norwegian rock band Motorpsycho - and a new band was born. "Reflections in Cosmo" is an excellent live band and their music can be described as an explosive mix of raw energy, jazz, improvisation and rock-nostalgia and is definately a name for the future. Their debut album will be released on HUBRO in April 2015.
