Teile der Band kennen sich bereits aus gemeinsamen Irish-Folk-Tagen. Doch die eigenen Songs des Front-Manns Ray O´Sullivan (voc, bass, git)  sind alles andere als typisch Irish - eine neue Band war nötig.

The journey goes on and the new songs keep coming and more and more of them just didn’t fit into a usual folk band concept. So it was time for a new band: RAYS.
RAYS have undeniable roots in folk, are open for soul and funk, rhythm and blues, jazz, rock – all held together with a groove that lets the spiritual poetry of the lyrics dance.
