Ragsy writes heartfelt lyrics that align perfectly with his raw, classic rock-inspired vocals.

His album 'Ouch!!!', featuring the haunting voice of Caroline Harrison, sees the two artists combine to tell a story of the highs and lows of love, life, loss and wanting. The album was crafted over a two-year period following Ragsy’s appearance on BBC's The Voice 2013 during which, impressed by his performance of Coldplay’s ‘The Scientist’, Sir Tom Jones took him under mentorship. The programme’s video of the song has received over 2 million views on YouTube.

Sir Tom’s contribution and the popularity of Ragsy’s uniquely re-worked versions of 'Walking In The Air' and 'The Scientist' have seen him become a confident regular on various radio stations including BBC live sessions and conducting breezy interviews with influential broadcasters, all of which which has contributed to building a loyal fanbase that will undoubtedly continue to grow in numbers.

Following on from his accomplishments on The Voice and his confident live shows, Ragsy has performed to crowds at festivals including Glastonbury, Wakestock, Brecon Fringe, HowTheLightGetsIn, Ponty's Big Weekend and received radio support from Lynn Bowles, Mike Read, Jamie Owen, Wynne Evans and Eleri Siôn. He was also elected BBC Radio Wales Artist of The Week.
