He started playing the piano at the age of 4 and took lessons until he was 12 years old. One of the rolemodels of his childhood was Phil Collins with his band Genesis, so another passion of him was drumming. For christmas, he got a little drumset for kids in the early '90s and started driving his parents and his older brother crazy.

At the age of 14 years R:J:C listened to a weekly DJ-mix show broadcasted by a local radio station. That was the first time he ever heard multiple songs being mixed together to a whole set with smooth transitions and massive drops. This experience was so fascinating to him that he leant a simple mixing console from a friend and started trying it for himself. In the following years he spent every cent into upgrading his gear and worked on his DJ skills. Finally he got his first professional bookings in local clubs. In this time he primarily mixed blackbeat music like Hip Hop and R'n'B. But he always had an ear for electronic music.

With 19 years he made his first steps in producing his own stuff. He created whole songs on the electronic side and made remixes and mashups for his DJ sets on the other side. He is playing residentially in famous clubs like FLASH and Kulturfabrik and also guest-DJs in the weekly radio show “SCHWARZ” on 103.7 UnserDing.

His first single “Inspire” has been released on all digital platforms (e.g. iTunes®, Google Play®, Amazon Music®, Spotify®, etc.) in December 2015.

R:J:C is a musician that loves to combine different genres and create new sounds. He was one of the first remixers, who made a mashup with Lil Jon and Skrillex, long time before Hip Hop and EDM merged together in a much more famous way.

He always was and still is a pioneer in the modern music scene.
