After years of studies he concluded that performing music composed by someone else is not enough for him. Therefore he decided to compose his own music and called it Quarkmonk.
Deep atmospheric sound, combination of numerous electronic music styles (from chillstep to techno) with classical-sounding orchestral melodies - these distinctive main features are so characteristic for the music of Quarkmonk. Unpredictable and melodically rich sound, constant search of the new harmonic solutions and unique synth sounds - that's the result of a combination of academic schooling background and restless experiments aimed to improve his own distinctive musical style and a composing manner.
The main subject of Quarkmonk's research in music is to figure out the origin of unmotivated human aggression. This undefinable hidden cruelty begotten by fears and selfishness. Post-industrial landscapes with huge abandoned factories and unused for years rails overgrown with grass - such a typical picture for Kyivan suburbs, such a characteristic features for the music of Quarkmonk.
