The band members are: Milan Mitrovic- vocals, drums; Aleksandra Stankovic bass guitar, backing vocals and Bratislav Mitrovic - guitar. The first notable success, Plastic Sunday realizes the competition "Hello Good Vibrations" 2009/10 winning second place song "Radostan Dan" which was later found at the top of many relevant charts in Serbia. The aforementioned song is at the end of 2010 - the year in the nomination of the biggest hits of Radio B92. The most significant recognition of Plastic Sunday received by critics and news Popboks where the band was awarded the best new band in Serbia in 2010-year. As a result of this award made the first mini album "Razum Traži Razloge" produced in Digimedija a study that was published in the online label Silos Popboks December 2011. The second album, “Komunikacija”, Plastic Sunday recorded at the studio Digimedia in Belgrade, in the period from September to December of the 2013 year. The producer of the album was Goran Crevar who was responsible for the production of the first album "Razum Traži Razloge". "Komunikacija" appeared in July 2014. as an independent online publication, and the first single "Ovaj Grad" found in the top of many relevant top the charts across the country. This album is in many portals across the region was named one of the best regional editions and supported by the fact that the Plastic Sunday appeared on the compilation "Kompot – Odabrano Voće2014" Croatian portal Potlista. After the release of the album "Komunikacija", followed by the first independent regional mini-tour on which the Plastic Sunday performed in Serbia, Montenegro, Slovenia and Macedonia, as well as at festivals Bedem Fest in Niksic, Psychedelic Fair in Belgrade and Exit Festival in Novi Sad .
The new material was announced by singles "Filmovi" (cover of the cult group Dobri Isak) and "Ljudi Oko Mene". Due to the departure of Aleksandra Stankovic abroad, the band joined Nikola Milosevic who premiered with the band at the Exit Festival in 2017. With him in August 2017, Plastic Sunday in the studio "Šamarčina" in Vrbas, with Robert Talcer (Veliki Prezir, Partibrejkers), who also guest in individual tracks, is recording his new material.
In November 2017, published by the publishing house Lampshade Media, the third official edition of "Svetlost U Tebi" appeared, in which mix guitarist Bratislav Mitrovic and Robert Telcher performed the mix. After a little over a month, the new album was announced in both domestic and regional portals for one of the best regional albums of the year. Plastic Sunday continued to promote their album throughout Serbia (Belgrade, Niš, Kragujevac, G. Milanovac, Zaječar, etc.) in a new set and new material, which was also presented at the PozitivNi Street Festival and the Overload Festival in 2018,and at the end of the same year the album was also presented on a mini tour in Austria, Croatia and Slovenia (Graz, Maribor, Sisak, Zagreb).
