Picnic Area are a highly individual alt country band from Greater Manchester, with a particularly British take on country music and a distinct musical leaning towards powerpop.
They have received glowing reviews from the likes of AmericanaUK, Americana Gazette and Mancunian Matters for their debut studio album "You know you want it", produced by folk legend Bill Leader, and for their dynamic live performances. They have featured at Grillstock Manchester, the Middlewich Folk Festival and the Manchester Americana Festival.
