Phonebooth are a Rock’n’Roll Band from South Korea, formed in 2005.

The band is composed of Laser (lead vocals, acoustic guitar and keyboard), Taewoo Kim (lead guitar and backing vocals), Sangmin Kim (rhythm guitar), Han Park (bass guitar) and Minseok Choi (drums).

To date, the band have released three full-length albums and one EP album: The way to live on (2008), For me, By me, Of me (2010), Wonder (2014) and FRANK (EP, 2015). The band also have released one live album titled The Last November (2013).

The band’s recent EP album FRANK (EP, 2015) have received favorable reviews in the press and music journals. In this album, the band sings about social issues such as Sewol Ferry Disaster (Flowers in the Waves), labour unrests (Mr. Vertigo) , military violences (Hide and Seek). Though the band sing in Korean, every audience, even they do not understand Korean, will be able to get the messages they sing through their music.

The band’s performance is also their strength. Recently the band have done a tour in South Korea(five cities-Seoul, Jeonju, Kwangju, Daegu, Busan) and Vladivostok, Russia. They have played thirty songs unrestingly at every tour gig, delivered massive energy to the audience.
