Derby based Pet Crow formed in 2016 and set their stall out from the get go.

Groove-laden, surf tinged, garage rock to which you can dance.

2017 saw the release of their first LP ‘A Simple Guide to Small and Medium Pondlife’ via local DIY label 'Reckless Yes!', followed later that year by a 7” single ‘How Are you Wired?’ via 'Too Pure Singles Club', which found itself in the UK physical charts.

Since the last release, Pet Crow have been very busy writing, touring & being people. Their 2nd LP ‘Take The Edge Off’ was released in Feb 2020 (Self-released (UK) & via 'No Sleep Records (US).
Tracks 'NOCD, What We Doin'?' & 'One Whole Summer' were picked up and played by BBC Radio 6 Music (Steve Lamacq & Marc Riley) as well as a '60 Second CV' on Lamacq's show.

“Off kilter vocals grind against spidery guitar lines whilst a big bastard rhythm section pummel your ear drums in the most glorious way imaginable. Christ. I think I’m in Love! – God is in the TV Zine

“Fun, Frenetic and full of verve” – Upset Magazine

“This LP will likely gatecrash playlists for a long time… Already in ‘Addiction’ mode. - New Noise Magazine

“Pet Crow are pros at delivering a beat you have to move to. Tracks that hypnotize you, dark lyrics and messages within their harmonious delivery. Words you want to sing to and words you want to think about- Pet Crow put a spin on their brash outlook- mixing emotion with voltaic instrumentation. Fun, energetic and resonating with raw virtue. Take The Edge Off – easily the most important record of 2020” - Circuit Sweet

"...this is the perfect hybrid of energy and empathy that makes for a fully belting comeback" - Birthday Cake for Breakfast

"Smashing through insecurities and personal ailments in refreshing garage-pop style" - Get In Her Ears
