The four-piece band Perfect Pill from Budapest, Hungary was founded under the purpose to create a modern yet traditional sounding band. Their music with modern rock melodies encounters the authentic ‘90’s grunge and prog-rock solutions.
In the forming year, 2012 they released their debut EP ‘Seals Broken’, and after series of shows (Inc. Hard Rock Café’s Hard Rock Rising 2013), the first birthday of the band was celebrated in the club A38, which was selected as the best bar on Earth by Lonely Planet. In January 2014 ‘Getaway’ single was released with a no-budget music video on YouTube directed by the singer, Levente Szabó.
Their second EP, called ‘Turbulence’ came to light in June 2014 mixed by the well-known Hungarian musician György Ligeti (guitarist of Zagar, singer of We Are Rockstars). Thanks to his work, the sound of the band became more mature. A lyric-video was made to the song ‘Lose Ends’ which shows Budapest in a specific angle.
In the year 2015 they were invited to the final of one of the greatest open-air talent shows in Hungary, called ‘Éter fesztivál’, in which the group could test their elegantly energetic show wriggling out of the clubs of Budapest. In the fall of 2015 the newest five-song EP 'Shape of Things to Come' was released on the online pages of Recorder magazine.
The first music video from the EP was released in January 2016 along with an interview by the Promising Titans. Later that year more gigs were about to come: lots of club shows in Budapest and surrounding, and the first festival gig at Dunai Regatta.
After a creative pause, this year definitely will bring some freshness into the band's life, a full length debut album is about to come in a year time..
