A taste of their music is the equivalent of meeting your high school sweetheart after twenty years - reminiscing on triggered familiarity and being aroused by the smell of something ripe and dangerous.

Currently based in Tel Aviv, Israel, the Boyds are due to give birth to a fresh debut album produced by the "king of Israeli indie" (as named by Yoav Kutner - Israel's most appraised music critic)- Yehu Yaron. The album (recorded in the highly esteemed "Pluto studios") is a colorful collage of four years of musical quest and activity: dozens of shows in major clubs and festivals across the country, successful collaborations with a variety of Israeli indie pioneers and a radio-covered E.P.-"Appetite" that ranked the band as one of the six hottest indie groups in 2012 by the well-known showbiz website ("Mako").

The band was formed in Aug. 2011 by lead singer Avner Tueg and drummer Nadav Melman just after a three year military service, and was later joined by Adi Rotem - guitars and Adam milliner bass.

"I need to be faster, bigger, pull the trigger, earn my place in this cruel crowded zoo" - It wasn’t long before the four musicians realized that in addition to making meaningful authentic music they must find their own unique voice by re-exploring the limits of their instruments, provoking distorted sounds within the never-ending frame of technology and finding their spot in the international independent music scene.
