Lili Araujo (BR) and Gustav Lundgren (SE) had the first met in 2011 through a mutual friend, the guitarist Daniel Santiago.

Daniel was the producer of the CD from Lili "CASA ABERTA" (by DELIRA MUSIC 2012). He has also recorded one year before the Album "Janeiro" with Gustav Lundgren & Gabriel Grossi (by LUNDGREN MUSIC 2011).

Gustav Lundgren is one of Sweden's most highlighted guitarists in the European Jazz scene currently living in Madrid. Despite his young age he has already released 9 solo albums and worked with musicians like: Jimmy Rosenberg, Jorge Rossy, Lelo Nika, Rasmus Faber and others.

Gustav feel a great passion for the Brazilian music. He has been to Brazil a few times and beyond excellent jazz guitar, he plays the cavaquinho (small guitar typical for Brazilian and Portuguese music), seven string guitar and percussion. He is an expert within the Bossa Nova & Samba repertoire, knowing even more about our music than some Brazilians.

He masters various music styles among them the French gypsy swing music, he made more then 6 Albums dedicated to this style. He is currently working with his own Gypsy Swing Trio "The Gustav Lundgren Trio".

Lili is a young composer and singer born in Rio de Janeiro, with two albums released in Europe and Brazil, with great praise from music critics. He lived for three years in Europe, where he played with many musicians from the Jazz scene and in important clubs and jazz festivals.

After there first meeting in the city of Rio de Janeiro they stayed in touch over the Internet. During January 2012 Gustav spent nearly one month in Thailand composing for the project. After sending more then 16 songs to Lili she wrote lyrics in Portuguese to all of them! Finally 12 tracks were selected to be arranged and recorded in Casa do Mato Studios Rio de Janeiro on January of 2013. The CD "Passageiros" will be released in the first half of 2014 by the European label LUNDGREN MUSIC.

During September and October 2012, the Duo made there first tour in Europe together, trying out some of the material for there forthcoming album "Passageiros". After recording a Demo in Madrid they made concerts in Vienna, Basel, Zurich and Munich but also two appearances at the Stockholm Jazz Festival with excellent reception from both the public and critics.

"PASSAGEIROS" has a very Brazilian sound, going from chorinhos, sambas, bossa novas, ballads and baiões. The name "PASSAGEIROS or PASSENGERS" reflects the enormous number of trips/flights a modern musician have to make every year. Making more then a 100 flights per year is not unusual and that makes you feel like a flight attendant..

The CD will feature guest appearances by some prominent musicians from Rio de Janeiro, they are: Bernardo Aguiar (percussion), Gabriel Grossi (harmonica) and Alessandro "Bebe" Kramer (accordion) and also the musician Fredrik Carlquist (clarinet) from Sweden but living in Barcelona. In the concerts of CD release the duo will be accompanied by young and outstanding Brazilian percussionist Bernardo Aguiar. In the repertoire of the concerts are the twelve compositions recorded in the project and the songs of Brazilian authors like Baden Powell, Antônio Carlos Jobim and João Donato.
