PANIC TREE –TWO VOICES, ONE SOUND PANIC TREE is a band founded in Berlin in 2012 comprised of front woman A.

Seiffert and her counterpart T.H. Krohn. The duo combines their unique voices and perspectives to one darkly melancholic and at the same time lightly harmonic sound. A. Seiffert and T.H. Krohn write and compose their songs together, whilst the production and recording cycles are done in cooperation with producers David Österling and Dieter Gerbe.

First release New Monster Invasion EP already paved the way for their distinct sound: cool electronic drum arrange-ments meet warm, fullbodied bass lines; the deep and expressive voice of T.H. Krohn compliments the soft play-fulness of his band partner. For the release of the debut album Hyena the cooperation with David Österling and Dieter Gerbe is continued. While staying true to their multi-layered sound, Hyena is a step up, the duo has maturedand the refinement of their music is clear.

PANIC TREE do not compose songs of a certain genre, it is more an experimental conclusion from very diverse influences in modern music: the two band members name the pop dance charts of the nineties, as well as Beatles albums and an admiration for Falco as leading the way towards their own sound. Serving as sources of inspiration and having an impact on the topics adressed in their songs are writers like Charles Baudelaire, William S. Burroughs or Nicole Blackman. The combination of those elements eventually generates the individual sound of PANIC TREE –depth and dance in equal measures.
