Steebler started singing in a church choir, where her family and friends discovered the magnitude and effect of her voice. By the age of twelve she was writing her first songs and was instantly hooked.
“Give In,” her recently released debut EP, is named after one of five original songs, recorded at the notorious Avatar Studios, based in New York. “Help Me Out,” her second single, was recently placed in the film “Worthy,” which has been received with great at the Newport Beach Film Festival 2015. In special recognition of her talent, Steebler was invited to shared the stage with great artists such as Dana Fuchs, Annie Lennox, Willie Nelson, Carole King, among others.
Steebler’s musical influences incorporate strong references to artists through the ages, like Joni Mitchell, Alanis Morissette and Carole King. Her music is also undeniably attuned to artists of her generation, like Bruno Mars, Allen Stone, Adele and Grace Potter. Steebler has managed to work all her influences as a catalyst of all of these references in her latest EP ‘Give In,’ giving us something very original. Reminiscent of the British boho-chique vintage of vibe of Joss Stone, this Brazilian vocalist is not one to be forgotten.
