Organised Scum’s debut EP was released in December 2016, with lead track 'The Rare Gift of Healing' selected by Spotify UK for their 'Six Strings' playlist. With comparisons to Mac Demarco, Blur and XTC, and recent gigs taking them from London to New York, this is definitely a band to watch for 2017.
“Employing a folk-driven indie rock backdrop, [they] specialise in shambolic, absurdist fare... Frontman Tom Duggins… sounds uncannily like [Damon] Albarn, spinning the same types of everyday life absurdist narratives as can be found on The Great Escape, propelled along on a Kinks-ian lope glazed over with Pavement-like fuzz. It’s smart, crafty, lazy, and stoopid all rolled up in a nice delectable three-minute Matzah ball.” (The Line of Best Fit)
