OPERATION LIGHTFOOT is a series of collaborations between the project's founder, composer/songwriter Luke Moore, and a range of emerging and established featured artists.

With a line-up that adapts to suit each specific performance, material that incorporates cinematic, world music, acoustic and pop/rock influences, and visuals to accompany their set, OPERATION LIGHTFOOT is a fresh take on live performance and collaboration. A dozen guest artists have now begun co-writing on the ongoing album project, "Alignments", which pairs each song with a video, piece of visual art or photography especially produced for the project.

The debut single, "Eighteen", is co-written by Vanessa Murray and was released by Ultimate Fake Records in August 2014. Shortly afterwards, OPERATION LIGHTFOOT performed twice on on Dave Monks' BBC Introducing Show, and received airplay of their follow up tracks "What If I Told You", "Solfall" and "Pillows" later in the year. Well-received live performances at Threshold Festival, Wirral Earth Fest, Chester Fringe and Liverpool Acoustic events have demonstrated that the format of several guest singers alongside a core band of multi-instrumentalists offers audiences something different to a lot of other acts.

Performances at several festivals in 2015 are already booked along with co-writing sessions, filming, and more studio time. OPERATION LIGHTFOOT would love to feature as part of 2015's undoubtedly amazing Sound City line-up at the festival's new home.
