One Cure For Man is British musician, singer and songwriter James Parkinson from Burnley, Lancashire.

What defines his music are yearning vocals, intense guitar hooks, thought-provoking lyrics and melodic melancholia. Originally formed as a band by James in Leicester 2009, after many line-up changes he decided in 2012 to make it his solo project and moved back to his native Lancashire.
He released his debut album 'Serenade The Damned' in December 2013 receiving much BBC airplay for his up-temp acoustic/rock song 'War Of Dreams' and showcased songs at venues across Leicester, supporting The Raglans and Middleman. His second album 'Gods and Toys' has already received BBC airplay for his song 'The Lost' and is set to be released on October 12th 2015.
