With over 175,000 plays across their releases to date and each release charting in the Top 10 on Hype Machine, as well as several plays across Radio 1, One Bit have received a plethora of great reviews both complimenting their tracks and tipping them as an act to watch out for in 2014 and beyond:
RECORD OF THE DAY – tipped One Bit as their hottest unsigned act and “ big hitters down the line.”
DIGITAL SPY – “Producer duos are increasingly dime a dozen but One Bit are rising above the competition”
HUW STEPHENS – on Not About You “This track is a fantastic slice of garage tinged pop that’s ready for the charts.” NIALLER 9 – on Cold “A fine slice of pop sphering dance music”
ALICE LEVINE (RADIO 1) – “This band is right up our street, we can hear them all over national radio”
Their tracks have already received several plays across radio stations in the UK (BBC Introducing, Radio 1), US, Europe and Latin America helping cement One Bit as one of the most exciting new acts to come out of the UK in 2014.
Having played several gigs and festivals through 2014 including T in the Park, Boardmasters and a well received performance at Sound City with Liverpool Echo stating “One Bit who turned out to be the surprise highlight of the day. An electro two piece similar in many ways to Disclosure who got the small upstairs room jumping in no time.”, the coming months will see One Bit play alongside Bondax, TCTS, Pablo Nouvelle, Club NME and more.
Offering a different set up to more of the traditional dance acts, their live set fuses live elements with drums, keyboards, percussion alongside synths and pads, to make their live set-up more captivating and engaging with their audiences.
