Cast into existence spring 2010 and named after an album from Neaera the band once drunkenly spotted an advertisement for, Omnicide quickly slided into the condition of an active band.

A demo was created the same year, opportunities to play live arose and a year later the band had made equally acquaintance with stages of squats and Wacken, ergo the ideal moment to create a debut. That first record came a year later in the form of “Risen To Ruin”, exploring the different manifestations of Death Metal, in other words the band didn't really know what they wanted to play. Hop forward in time a couple years, since there wasn't a lot going on due to line-up changes, and one arrives in the year 2015. Omnicide, in new composition, record their sophomore album, “Constants and Variables”, only this time they knew exactly what they wanted to play. It was Död Metal, quintessential modern Death Metal.
Tasty riffs in the vein of Cannibal Corpse and slams à la Suffocation, the crushing grooves of Behemoth and the intricate dynamics from Decapitated, the ferocity of Misery Index and Kataklysm's catchy songwriting are seasoned with modern sensibilities influenced by All Shall Perish and Despised Icon. All this is topped off with some of the strongest, or at least longest lyrics in Death Metal history. The Result? The best mimicry of innovative Death Metal money can buy you.
