"First genuine jaw-on-the-floor moment of 2015" - Andrew Evans, When the Gramophone Rings “He speaks from the heart, he paints pictures, and tells a story.

As he stands solitary on stage, his eyes closed, we are all transfixed.”
- Kate Prothero, Yorkshire Evening Post
Oliver Pinder is a singer/songwriter from Queensbury in Yorkshire. He released his debut EP, Island Rain, in March 2015 with the lead single ‘Dear’ – a song he recorded with Embrace’s Mickey Dale and Mike Heaton and since had airplay on the BBC and XFM.

At the age of just 14, Oliver crafted a four-song EP bursting with wit and wisdom beyond his years. Taking inspiration from the story-telling of Joni Mitchell and the acoustic-pop of Ben Howard and Ed Sheeran, Oliver’s songs are full of angst, sadness, joy and exuberance – pretty much what many teenagers feel every day.

Oliver first picked up a guitar aged 11. A year later, he was playing in pubs and clubs in his home town, singing songs about his own childhood experiences of school bullying, unrequited love and the untimely death of his father.

Equip with an acoustic and electric guitar Oliver has supported the likes of Embrace, Starsailor, Marika Hackman, JP Cooper, Rhodes, Jake Isaac, The Hoosiers and many more.
