Old Rock City Orchestra is an italian progressive rock power trio.

The new line-up is composed by Cinzia Catalucci (vocals and keyboards), Raffaele Spanetta (vocals, guitars and bass) and Mike Capriolo (drums and percussion).

Old Rock City Orchestra was formed in 2009 in Orvieto (Italy) by Cinzia Catalucci (vocals and keyboards) and Raffaele Spanetta (guitars). After common musical experiences in other bands the two founder members decided to start a new music project. Giacomo Cocchiara (bass guitar) and Michele “Mike” Capriolo (drums) joined the band and completed the first lineup.

In 2010 the group recorded their first promo, also broadcasted on Aural Moon Radio, and after good performances at numerous events and many Italian pubs and clubs the band completed the work recording four new songs during summer 2011. In the same year the music critic and writer Andrea Parentin mentioned Old Rock City Orchestra on Rock Progressivo Italiano. An introduction to Italian Progressive Rock.

The band released the debut album Once Upon A Time in June 2012 on the M. P. & Records label. The album, showcased at Tarkus Records in Rome in December of the same year, incorporates progressive and psychedelic rock influences with classical overtones.

Distributed by G. T. Music Distribution, Once Upon A Time has also been reviewed by the Italian magazine Classix! and the Dutch progressive rock music magazine iO Pages.

In the Summer 2013 the band was involved in his first european tour (UK, France, Belgium and Holland). The tour ended with the Old Rock City Orchestra's participation in the 18th Balkan Youth Festival (Sandanski, Bulgaria).

In the Spring 2014 the band has recorded the second studio album. The album, called "Back to Earth", was released on April 30th (M.P. & Records).

In September 2015 Old Rock City Orchestra took part in the Prog to Rock festival (Turin, Italy) as opening act for the Italian progressive rock band Biglietto per l’Inferno.opening act for the Italian progressive rock band Biglietto per l’Inferno.
In June 2016 the band was the headliner at "Festa Europea della Musica", directed by the Analogy's bassist Mauro Rattaggi.
In November of the same year the bass player Giacomo Cocchiara left the group. Old Rock City Orchestra made the decision to go on as a trio, recording a studio version of "Need" by Circus 2000.
