Growing up a music lover of the classic Motown greats from the Jacksons to Temptations @OfficialDJKy started to form his passion for music. This love of music led to him sneaking and listening to his father collection of CDs. @OfficialDJKy initially hit the scene as the official DJ for the artist Jitsu Gaiden and their company Frequent Flyers Lifestyle, Inc. This breakout success has allowed @OfficialDJKy to grow his DJing presence by opening for major artists like Ray J and Omarion from VH1’s reality show Love and HipHop. DJ Ky is known for energetic live shows collaborating with creative directors. In 2015, DJ Ky became the official disc jockey for the Omega Phi Psi Fraternity Mu Zeta Chapter Qream Team. In the spring of 2016, DJ Ky, touring with Jitsu Gaiden had the opportunity to open up for Houston own’s Riff Raff at Club Tempt in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Later that year, DJ Ky took his style, high-volume energy, and talent to Atlanta, Georgia for the 2016 A3C Music Festival & Conference http://www.a3cfestival.com/.
DJ Ky sets the tone for the millennial and tech-savvy listeners by being well rounded in the music industry and keeping up with all of the social media know-how; starting his DJ career by touring and performing with Jitsu Gaiden and the Frequent Flyers Lifestyle brand led to his partnership with a mentor DJ Benji Rich. Their new company @NashvilleDJTruck is one of the first and only Silent Mobile DJ Trucks based out of Nashville, Tennessee. The good vibe mixologist is full of energy and spins, and can blend acapella with classic instrumental creating new live remixes. Adding the audio engineering title under his belt, DJ Ky inspires industry indy artists to invest in their craft. Being an uplifter, DJ Ky reaches the masses throughout his various social media platforms and connects with fans by touring and hosting events.
