The band have been heavily involved in the Midlands music scene since they started gigging in March '11 and have played an extensive amount of well received gigs resulting in attention from press and local radio.

The Summer of 2013 saw Of Kings And Captains support BonJovi on their UK “Because We Can” tour at venues including Birmingham’s Villa Park, Manchester’s Etihad, Cardiff city stadium, Sunderland stadium of light and Scotland’s national stadium Hampden park.

The band has played along side artist’s including; The Enemy, Kids in Glasshouse’s, The Futureheads and have received airplay on BBC radio, Absolute radio and Kerrang. The band has also been invited to perform at various Kerrang events throughout the year and in 2014 performed at the Birmingham Wireless festival on behalf of Free Radio.
