The four musicians are joining forces in this project to offer music which is at the same time profound, remotely familiar yet unclassifiable.

Nicolas Masson has recorded seven albums as a leader or co-leader, alongside some of the greatest musicians on the scene such as Ben Monder, Gerald Cleaver, Ted Poor, Eivind Opsvik, and Russ Johnson. He is a founding member of the collective trio Third Reel, which released two albums for ECM Records (Third Reel 2013, Many More Days 2015) receiving international acclaim.
