Born in 1969 in a suburb of Paris, the violinist Nicolas Krassik, is one of the sons of the famous French tradition of Jazz violinists.

After fifteen years of studying classical music and jazz and eight years playing in Europe along side musicians like Michel Pettrucciani, Didier Lockwood, Vincent Courtois, and Pierrick Hardy, Nicolas decided to embark to Rio de Janeiro in 2001 and dedicate himself to popular Brazilian music.

Virtuoso and creative, he quickly drew the attention of the media and gained the confidence of the musicians and admiration of the public, and became a reference of the violin in MPB.
Without a doubt, he conquered a space in the Brazilian musical scene, solidifying his solo career and standing out together with great artists among them Yamandú Costa, Hamilton de Holanda, Carlos Malta, Marisa Monte, Beth Carvalho, João Bosco and Gilberto Gil...
