The Pimptones’ sound is a combination of funky grooves, beefy breaks and blue eyed soul music.

Their slick arrangements have all the harmonic sophistication that the jazz cats love, delivered with a heavyweight punch that keeps the dance floor moving.

Their live show kicks off with tight, punchy instrumentals, making way to sweetly crafted soul songs as they are joined onstage by one of many fantastic guest vocalists. However now the band has flipped the script by taking on a full time singer in the form of Sultry Soul siren Beth Macari. Having first made a guest appearance with the group on their 2014 LP “Rejuiced Phat Shake”, Beth’s supercharged R&B vocal style is the perfect match for the Pimps’ Deep Funk sound.

With a live show splitting at the seam with great songs from their ever expanding back catalogue, and more releases planned, this year is shaping up to be another busy one for Nick Pride and The Pimptones.
