Niamh Jones | EP | 2014 |
Niamh grew up surrounded by music with the Irish roots of her family and her parents’ 80s influences. She gigs in and around Liverpool, playing in a lot of the city's influential venues that are buzzing with passionate vibes. As she continues with her song-writing she is playing her music in bigger venues, events and festivals as she does so. Niamh was one of the musicians selected for the Music Development Programme with Merseyside Arts Foundation presenting her with the opportunity to spend some more time recording at Parr Street Studios. She released her debut single 'Self Analysis' on 29th August followed by her self-titled EP 'Niamh Jones' on 12th September.
"She has a breezy and summery quality to her voice...her music makes you feel at ease and grateful for life. She has a tone to her voice that is reminiscent of The Cranberries, but much subtler and more sincere.."
-Sarah Parker (Burn The Manual)
"Lyrically, she is brilliant. Vocally, she is brilliant."
- Liverpool Live

Niamh Jones causes a ripple of excitement around a room, at 17 capture hearts beyond her years and the future is hers to behold, those ripples will only get larger and larger as her reputation spreads."
- Ian D.Hall (Liverpool Sound and Vision)
