After releasing their debut EP which received rave reviews from some of the UK's most respected music press and their song Chew Me Up, Spit Me Out being listed on BBC Introducing's top 10 tracks of 2013.
New York Tourists then stepped up to the plate with some explosive support slots with the likes of The Subways, The View, The Sunshine Underground, Buzzcocks, and Headlining the Alternative Stage at Blackburn Festival.
The band then released their follow up EP Dead Man's Leather in 2014 via London based label Kittiwake Records and have gone from strength to strength since with support slots with bands such as We Are Scientists and Main stage slots at Shrewsbury Fields Forever Festival, alongside The Cribs and Shed 7, and a main stage slot at Blackburn Festival with Toploader.
2015 started with the band recording their debut album which was funded by a successful Kickstarter campaign and in June , New York Tourists, played their biggest gig to date , at Hogton Tower, Preston, in front of 12,000 people as main support to the legendary Status Quo"
